New Student Orientation and Back to School Night
New Student Orientations are a required structure for all incoming students to the Kauffman School. At the orientation, you will learn crucial information about the school and its procedures and have the opportunity to meet and hear from multiple school administrators. All New Student Orientations will be virtual. What this will mean is that families will join the orientation online via Zoom, a free video chat software. You will need to have a working laptop or computer with webcam and internet access to join. If you do not currently have this technology available, please follow the directions below.
Orientation Dates / Times Options
No orientations are currently scheduled. We will share information with new families directly.
If You Need Technology Support to Attend an Orientation
If you do not currently have a working laptop or computer or internet connection, you will be able to attend the orientation at the Kauffman School using one of our computers. How this will work:
- In the survey, you will indicate that you are in need of technology assistance to attend the orientation and RSVP for the day that you will attend
- You will arrive at the Kauffman School (6401 Paseo Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64131) 30 minutes before the orientation begins
- A Kauffman Staff member will check you in and set you up to attend the orientation while sitting in a classroom space on campus using a provided computer
- You will be required to wear a mask in any common spaces of the school and follow social distancing protocol while on campus
